The Milverton Legacy Band has been going for just over a year now and it seemed wholly appropriate to bring you our first CD, MLB. I think it highlights our collective strengths and we’re proud of what we’ve produced, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it. The Band.
Craig Milverton, firmly established as one of Britains finest Jazz Pianists with 12 British Jazz Awards to his name, he is proud of his 2 talented children .
Eleisha May, Vocals, has already performed at many jazz venues and Festivals including Brecon, Pershore, Bude , Teignmouth, Beaminster and Dartmouth. Blessed with a smokey jazz voice she’s received much praise from Tina May, Digby Fairweather and Maggie Reeday.
Craig’s son Ben, Guitar, is already an experienced gigging musician appearing many times with his Dad’s groups at Clubs and Jazz Festivals including Teignmouth, Pershore, Bude and Beaminster. His astonishing technique and ability has been praised by such great guitarists as Nigel Price and Dominic Ashworth.
Ashley John Long is an astonishing Acoustic Bass Player, already a very well established musician on the Classical and free Jazz scene, there seems to be nothing that he cannot play. He puts down some wicked jazz and funk grooves throughout the CD.
