When Oscar and Ella first met for ‘Jazz at the Philharmonic’ they found they were a natural pairing and a legend was born.
Oscar and Ella worked together from the 1950’s to 1980’s, recording many times and performing many concerts together.
The repertoire of ‘An Oscar for Ella’ includes: Tenderly, Stomping at the Savoy, Dream a little Dream, Lush Life and many other songs from the jazz songbook.
